Icinga is a Monitoring Open Source System that verify the resources availability, informs users about the presence of errors and interruptions and delivers many BI data. It is a scalable and extensible solution capable of monitoring big, complex and geographically dispersed environments.
The solution provides a customizable dashboards system and some simplified monitoring tools through wich administrators can visualize, filter and prioritize problems, keeping track of the actions already made. The dashboard allows to administrators to visualize hosts and services in a unique page. It's possible to visualize all the events happening in a particular period of time or filter accidents, in order to understand which one needs to be immediately solved.
